Here we are two empty nesters and a dog….with a great idea!  We have been best friends since we were teenagers and married for the past 30 years.  Throughout our lives together we have had several rescue pets getting our most recent in the beginning of 2020.

Jason has always loved dogs and was involved with Rat Terrier breed rescue and placement, vaccine research and funding, and promoting responsible pet ownership.  Jason is a retired veteran who traveled the world seeing many animals that were homeless and not well cared for.  So of course when Dawn suggested the Buy one Donate one (BODO) concept, he was totally on board.

Dawn has a Masters in Acquisition and Procurement Management with over fifteen years of experience in purchasing and contracting.   Animals have always been a huge part of her life and she is passionate about supporting rescue animals. She believed that coupling the two together, her professional experience and passion, could bring individuals a unique opportunity to simply shop for their own pets and support rescue animals at the same time.  Bellatrix is the result of that idea, where individuals shop for their pet and we donate to a rescue.  JOIN OUR PACK AND TOGETHER WE CAN BE “RESCUE WARRIORS”.  Please help us make that idea a reality for as many rescue animals as we can.
